What is your design-build process from start to finish?
Our process includes inspection, estimating, architectural planning, securing permits, design consultation, material selection, and full construction.
How long does a typical remodeling project take?
Approximately 4-5 months
Can you help with permits and inspections?
Yes — we handle permit procurement, architectural planning, and coordinate inspections.
How involved do I need to be during the process?
Our service is concierge-level. We manage the full process, including insurance coordination (when applicable), permits, and construction, with personal involvement from our owners and team. It’s a hands-off process for you, although you are welcome to be as involved as you would like.
Do you provide 3D renderings or architectural plans before construction starts?
Yes, we provide architectural plans and use advanced visualization software before construction begins.
Budget & Pricing
How much does a kitchen or bathroom remodel typically cost?
– Kitchens typically range from $50,000.00-175,000.00
– Bathrooms typically range from $30,000.00-$75,000.00
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
No financing options available, however we do spread out the payment plan into sections.
What’s included in your estimates?
Our estimates include architectural planning, permitting, design consultation, materials, engineering, and construction.
How do you handle unexpected costs or change orders?
Present changes in scope and prepare a change order proposal for the client.
Can you help me stay on budget during the remodel?
Yes, we use cost management strategies to keep your project on budget.
Project Management & Communication
Will I have a dedicated project manager?
Yes, each project is overseen by a dedicated project manager.
How often will I get updates during construction?
We provide regular check-ins and proactive communication throughout the project.
Who do I contact if I have questions during the project?
You’ll have direct contact with your project manager, and our owners, Darlene and Doug Kimbell, are hands-on and available throughout the entire process.
Materials & Design
Can I choose my own materials and finishes?
Yes, we invite clients to our 10,000 sq ft showroom to select cabinetry, flooring, countertops, tile, fixtures, hardware, and more. Our design team will curate material options based on your goals, style and space.
Do you work with interior designers or provide design services?
We have an in-house design team.
Can you match or update existing home features to new designs?
We are experienced in updating or matching existing home features during a remodel.
What brands or suppliers do you typically work with?
We don’t list specific brands on our website, but we source high-quality cabinetry, stone, tile, fixtures, and more through trusted suppliers and local showrooms. Please visit our 10,000 square foot Westlake Village showrooms to see all options.

We employ experienced craftsmen, follow strict attention to detail, and have direct oversight on every project by our owners. We have been doing construction for over 25+ years and have strict standards on the quality of every single project we touch.

We serve Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Calabasas, Malibu, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Lake Sherwood, North Ranch, Hidden Hills, Camarillo, Pacific Palisades, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Woodland Hills, and the surrounding areas.
Do you work in HOA-regulated neighborhoods?
We regularly work with HOA-regulated properties and assist with navigating their requirements.
How far will you travel for a project?
We primarily serve clients across Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, including the greater Conejo Valley.
Scheduling & Availability
How far in advance should I schedule my remodel?
After completing the design phase and project budget, two weeks from contract approval.
Are you currently accepting new projects?
Yes, we have the capacity to take on new projects at this time.
Do you take on small remodels or only full-home renovations?
We take on projects of all sizes — from kitchens and bathrooms to full-home renovations and custom builds.
